Ironman Community Foundation Slots still available in North America

World Triathlon Corporation (WTC) has confirmed that Ironman Community Foundation slots are still available for Ford Ironman Coeur d’Alene, Ford Ironman Lake Placid, Subaru Ironman Canada, Ford Ironman Louisville, Ford Ironman Wisconsin, Ford Ironman Florida and Ford Ironman Arizona. All of these events have already reached capacity and are closed to general entry for 2009.
Ironman Community Foundation Slots are available for all Ironman events in the US and Canada and may be accessed through the individual race websites or via www.ironman.com.
Funds raised from Ironman Community Foundation Slots are directed to the Ironman Foundation, offering contributions to local and national organisations. Since its inception in 2001, the Ironman Foundation has distributed more than US$3.5 million (€2.6 million) to community groups and various non-profit organisations.
