blueseventy has produced a limited edition version of the hugely popular 2010 Hydra-Vision goggle as part of the company’s tie-up with German Commerzbank triathlete, Timo Bracht.
The German triathlete came second in his defence of his European Ironman Championship title this weekend in Frankfurt, wearing exclusive goggles bearing his name and team colours. (Although Andreas Raelert made sure that the title stayed in the hands of a German athlete, with his win at the 2010 Frankfurter Sparkasse Ironman European Championship.)
Timo was on hand to present the new goggles at blueseventy’s booth at the Frankfurt Ironman Expo.
Hydra-Vision goggles are favoured by triathletes such as Bracht because of their all round visibility and low profile dynamics in the water. The split yoke strap makes them ideal for rough open water starts, and those bearing Bracht’s name should be tough to catch hold of this season.
Timo added that "Swimming is not usually my biggest strength in a triathlon. I find it tough, but with this new goggle swimming is fun, even for me!"
