The Dutch Triathlon Federation (NTB) – the organisation that encompasses all types of combined endurance sports in the Netherlands – is seeking a full-time Elite Triathlon Head Coach.
One of the core tasks of the NTB is the support of all its members, clubs and race organisations. The Dutch Triathlon Federation has over 15,000 members and has its base in Nieuwegein. Since 2007 the NTB has run a National Elite Sport Centre in Sittard (NTC), where athletes train on a daily basis to prepare for the Olympic Games.
Due to the departure of the current Head Coach Triathlon Elite, the Dutch Triathlon Federation is seeking a Head Coach candidate to implement elite triathlon policy and technical activities.
Main tasks include: heading the training and racing programme to get the best possible results at international championships and the 2012 London Olympic Games; coaching of athletes in national and international competitions; heading the team of assistants and specialists of the National Elite Sport Centre in Sittard; and advising the NTB in the area of elite triathlon policies and related matters.
A written application with CV should be sent to NTB no later than 1 May 2010. For more information regarding this position and how to apply, candidates can contact the Technical Director, Mr Adrie Berk, at adrie.berk.ntb@xs4all.nl or +31 6 10793927.
