Neill Craigie appointed to British Triathlon Board

Following an external recruitment process, Neill Craigie has been appointed to the position of Independent Non Executive Director for Marketing and Communications on the British Triathlon Board. He formally joined the Board of the British Triathlon Federation on 24 April 2010.

Craigie has a wealth of commercial experience developed during a variety of roles with PZ Cussons and has a maintained a strong interest in sport following Cussons’ successful sponsorship of the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester. He played an active role leading the commercial aspects of this sponsorship and has been responsible for several other initiatives within sport in the subsequent years.

Craigie’s role as Independent Non Executive Director is to advise the Board and senior management team on all aspects of marketing and communications with his overall objective being to raise the profile of the sport in the UK.

"I am incredibly excited to join the Board of British Triathlon. As a fast growing, dynamic and modern Olympic sport, triathlon is perfectly placed to capture the interest and imagination of the nation with its world class athletes, coaches and support staff," Craigie said.
