Nike plans to release its third quarter fiscal 2010 financial results on Wednesday 17 March 2010, at approximately 13:15 (PT), following the close of regular stock market trading hours.

Following the news release, Nike management will host a conference call beginning at 14:00 (PT) to review the company’s results.

Nike has also announced that Hilary Krane is joining the company as Vice President and General Counsel, reporting to company CEO Mark Parker.

Krane, 46, joins Nike from Levi Strauss & Company, where she had worked since 2006 as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Affairs. Krane brings global experience in corporate governance, securities, mergers and acquisitions, brand protection and government affairs.

"Hilary’s broad experience will be a great asset to Nike as we continue to grow our business globally," said Mark Parker, President and CEO of Nike. "I look forward to having her as a member of my senior team."

She succeeds long-time Nike General Counsel, Jim Carter, who is retiring after 12 years with Nike. Carter joined Nike in 1998 and has served as the company’s General Counsel since 2002.

"Jim has been a tremendous contributor to Nike’s success over the years and a very important member of the Nike senior management team," Parker said. "We’ll miss him and wish him well."
