The time trial bike of Team HTC-Columbia is now triathlon-ready, with Scott unveiling a consumer-ready version of the Plasma 3.
According to Scott, there shall be two triathlon versions of the bike, with the stem available in 75mm or 90mm lengths; additional rise can be attained with aero bar/pad spacing. The road/time trial version has a fully integrated stem, as on the HTC-Columbia team bike.
The Scott Plasma 3 has been developed with an aerodynamic shape combined with structural performance:
• Drag optimized profile on all tube sections
• All tubes meet UCI-legal 3:1 ratios (ensuring freedom to ride at either UCI or ITU events)
• Integrated rear brake
• Integrated bottom bracket
Finally, an adjustable seat clamp allows for adjustment of between 73-80º on seat tube angle
