Hot on the heels of Mark Cavendish gaining a much needed stage win at the 2010 Tour de France, Skype has confirmed that it has teamed up with Cavendish’s leading pro cycle team, Team HTC-Columbia, to help them prepare for the ultimate cycling challenge.
In a recent promotion from Skype, the internet phone and video service notes that Team HTC-Columbia train and race all over the world, but wherever their riding takes them, Skype makes it easy for them to keep in touch with loved ones back home.
According to Skype, ‘We even help them run a global business on-the-go, using Skype to get together with colleagues working all over the world. Right now though, as they sprint up mountains and race through villages, we’re 100% behind them, helping them on their way.’
