Speedo backs early season charity tri at Hyde Park

Backed by Speedo, on Sunday 18 April, Students Partnership Worldwide (SPW) is holding its fourth annual triathlon in Hyde Park. This charity triathlon is unique – as a fun, family focused event taking place at the 2012 Olympic triathlon venue.

Speedo is again supporting the family focused triathlon as part of its overall triathlon offering this year. The company’s intensive triathlon-focused programme for 2010 includes the launch of TriathELITE a new triathlon dedicated product range.

In addition, Speedo is ramping up its involvement in an extensive event schedule and the recruitment of a team of triathlon ambassadors including athletes and a panel of triathlon experts and coaches. Overall the programme is set to position Speedo as a major force in the triathlon market.

SPW is a youth-led development charity that has been repeatedly cited as an example of best practice by the World Bank and UNAIDS. SPW believes that if young people are given the right support, opportunities and encouragement they have the potential to change their own lives and the lives of the communities and countries around them.
