USA Triathlon (USAT) and EcoSportsBottle.com have extended their partnership with a three-year agreement designating the San Diego-based company as an official supplier, and green product supplier, of USA Triathlon through to 2012.

EcoSportsBottle.com will provide its environmentally safe hydration products to the USAT National Team Program, and its bottles will be distributed to the top finishers in each age group at the 2010 USAT Age Group National Championship in September in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Additionally, EcoSportsBottle.com and its parent company, Innovative Companies LLC, will support the USA Paratriathlon National Team. The company has developed products specifically designed for paratriathletes – including the Eco Paratriathlon Competition Strap – that will debut at the 2010 USA Paratriathlon National Championship on 18 July in New York.

The Eco Paratriathlon Competition Strap was recently approved by ITU for use by category TRI-1 paratriathletes.

USAT race directors, coaches and clubs are eligible to purchase products from EcoSportsBottle.com for their races and club members at a minimum discount of 50% off retail pricing. Also, all USAT members can receive 20% off retail on any online purchase.

“Environmentally sound products are extremely important to USA Triathlon and our membership, and we are proud to partner with EcoSportsBottle.com for another three years,” said USAT Marketing & Communications Director Chuck Menke. “Adding EcoSportsBottle.com’s support of the paratriathlon movement to the mix only supplements an already exciting partnership.”

“We are truly honoured and excited to continue our work with USA Triathlon,” added EcoSportsBottle.com founder Diane Camet. “We are thrilled about the opportunity to work in partnership to help raise funds and awareness for USAT, our health and the environment.”
