USA Triathlon (USAT) National Team Program athletes will continue to receive video analysis from an industry leader, as USAT and siliconcoach have agreed to a new two-year renewal. Through the agreement, siliconcoach is designated as an official supplier of the USAT National Team Program through to 2011.
Utilised by a number of the world’s top footwear companies, national academies and institutes of sport, siliconcoach will continue to provide USAT coaches and staff with video analysis software programs.
Additionally, USAT-certified coaches are eligible to receive a 15% discount on the siliconcoach software system. This discount program will give age group athletes access to the same video analysis software used by the nation’s top triathletes.
"Video analysis has become an integral element of triathlon training, and the National Team Program is excited to continue the partnership with siliconcoach," said Scott Schnitzspahn, USAT’s Sport Performance Director. "Through their coaches, the software provides our athletes with valuable information about their form and technique, and we’ve seen outstanding results."
siliconcoach technology is not only used for technique analysis. It also has been adopted within classrooms, giving instructors the ability to visually convey the principles of movement, biomechanics and functional anatomy.
