USAT Coaching Certification Clinic in Hawaii

For the first time ever, USA Triathlon (USAT) is bringing a Level I Coaching Certification Clinic to Hawaii. For those wanting a trip to the Big Island, or for Hawaii resident coaches, the clinic provides a chance to become a USAT certified coach and opens doors in the coaching profession.

Held in close proximity to the 2010 Ironman World Championship and the first-ever USA Triathlon Team USA reunion, the clinic is scheduled for 6-8 October 2010, at the beautiful Sheraton Kailuakona Resort and Spa in Kona, Hawaii.

With top multisport experts such as Bob Seebohar, Sergio Borges and Lee Zohlman serving as instructors, USAT Level I certification covers:

• Basic triathlon coaching and training concepts
• Overview of training systems
• Introduction to triathlon skills development
• Overview of planning and periodization
• Coaching philosophy and ethics
