Hydrapak, the leading global supplier of active-lifestyle hydration equipment, has announced its role as OEM provider for Salomon Sports. The partnership is the latest in a series of collaborations in which the Oakland based company has helped an established outdoor brand add advanced hydration products into its product mix.
As a full-service OEM, Hydrapak has fulfilled many demanding product requirements as requested by Salomon’s product design team. Re-engineered components in this hydration system include the new Hydraflex tube for enhanced flexibility; a stronger, smaller and easier to grab Slider closure mechanism; colour-coordinated reservoir material and drink tube; and two different tube lengths for the various sized finished products. Additionally, Hydrapak is able to provide a mix of connectors and drink tube configurations to further augment the functionality of the various Salomon packs.
Hydrapak’s Softflask products were also re-shaped to fit and complement the colour-coordinated Salomon running program.
