Interbike, the largest bicycle industry tradeshow in North America, has confirmed that Cervélo has returned to the show after a three-year absence. The news comes on the heels of a recent statement that several new and returning brands will attend Interbike, plus news that the Triathlon Pavilion has sold out.
“Cervélo is pleased to be back at Interbike for 2012,” said Scott Rittschoff, Cervélo’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing-Americas. “It is undeniable that Interbike is our industry’s largest gathering of North American retailers, and we plan to use the event to further educate and support our dealer base.”
Pat Hus, Managing Director for Interbike, said momentum for the Las Vegas tradeshow is moving along at an incredible pace. “We have so many great things happening this year and we are thrilled with where we are right now,” he said. “It’s great to see industry leaders like Cervélo coming back to Interbike and reinforcing their commitment to retailers domestically – and globally.”
Interbike recently announced its plans to move the show to the Mandalay Bay Conference Center and Hotel (MBCC) for 2013, 2014 and 2015. More information on the MBCC and the 2013 event can be found on show website at www.interbike.com/2013.
The Interbike International Bicycle Expo and OutDoor Demo are the North American bicycle industry’s leading business-to-business events bringing together top manufacturers, retailers, industry advocates and media to conduct the business of cycling. The show is a business unit of Nielsen Expositions, the parent company of the Outdoor Retailer (OR) and Health+Fitness Business expos.
Interbike gathers more than 1,200 cycling-related brands and close to 24,000 total attendees annually.
Interbike’s fourth decade of serving the industry will begin at the OutDoor Demo from 17-18 September 2012, in Boulder City, Nevada, followed by the Interbike Expo from 19-21 September 2012, at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas.
