fortyninegroup, a leading endurance sports strategy and marketing firm, has announced today that it has hired Cortney Martin to the newly created role of Director Of Client Marketing. In this capacity, Martin will be responsible for client marketing initiatives across fortyninegroup’s roster of event, athlete, equipment, accessory, coaching, media and registration clients.
Based in Blacksburg, Virginia, Cortney Martin is in her second year as a member of the Endurance Films Racing Team. As a dedicated and competitive age group triathlete, Cortney finished third in her age group in the Sprint distance, at last month’s USA Triathlon Age Group Nationals.
Cortney will represent Team USA this October in Auckland, New Zealand. She holds a PhD and MSc in Human Factors Engineering, and blogs about her triathlon life as Cort The Sport.
