New Science in Sport (SiS) e-commerce website

Provexis plc, the business that develops, licenses and markets scientifically-proven functional food and sports nutrition technologies, has announced the official launch of a new e-commerce website for Science in Sport (SiS).

SiS, owned by Provexis since June 2011, is a sports nutrition manufacturer, producing award winning isotonic gels, powders and bars, used by elite athletes, Olympians and sports participants. As the company notes, the website, found at scienceinsport.com, ‘utilises a state-of-the-art online ordering system that has the capability to efficiently process multiple orders catering for national and international demand.’

Stephen Moon, Chief Executive of Provexis, said “We took the decision to invest in the e-commerce side of our website, both back office and front end, due to the increasing levels of demand our online sales have been witnessing. We are very pleased with the new system and are confident that all our online customers will feel the benefits straight away.”

As part of the launch of the new e-commerce site, for October 2012 only, all SiS products will be discounted by 20%.

Moon continued, “The recent Olympics has created a surge in sporting interest, both nationally and internationally – overall, SiS-fuelled athletes achieved 24 medals including 11 Golds. Serious athletes understand the benefits that SiS can help them achieve. Our e-commerce website offers a new channel for all athletes to access our products.”
