Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series and FuelBelt partnership

Competitor Group Inc (CGI), ‘the active lifestyle industry’s leading media and event entertainment company’, has confirmed a new partnership with FuelBelt Inc, to offer an exclusively designed Rock ‘n’ Roll collection of FuelBelt licensed products. These will be available in the series’ Brooks Event Merchandise Store at all 2013 and 2014 Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series events.

The partnership kicks off at the Zappos.com Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon & ½ Marathon to benefit the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America, which takes place on Sunday 2 December 2012.

“Partnering with the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series is an ideal match because we have an incredibly committed customer base who participate in many of the Series’ races,” said Vinu Malik, FuelBelt Founder & CEO.

Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series’ race weekends begin with a two-day Health & Fitness Expo, where all participants go to pick up their race number. Expos feature exhibits, clinics and more than 100 running and fitness retailers, including the Brooks Event Merchandise Store where FuelBelt products will be available.

From multi-bottle belts and low profile handhelds to high performance accessories, FuelBelt offers an assortment of products designed with endurance sports athletes in mind.

“Over the years we’ve seen many of our participants already sporting FuelBelt products, so it only made sense to bring them on as a licensed product in our Brooks Event Merchandise Stores,” said John Smith, SVP of Sales at CGI.
