British bike brand EVO2Max hits the USA with PROthree

Having launched in the UK several months ago, custom British bicycle firm EVO2Max has confirmed the launch of EVO2Max USA, based in North Carolina and operated by PROthree. Headed up by retired pro triathlete Rich Allen as CEO, sports marketing and sales company PROthree will oversee the entire brand operations in the US and Canada. Here, PROthree will aim to place firm routes in the custom triathlon and cycling market for the EVO2Max brand.

EVO2Max Co-Founder, Andy Jackson, said “This is a fantastic opportunity for EVO2Max to gain traction in the US and Canada, and we are extremely excited to bring our custom machines to such a large market. We only recently launched in the UK, but PROthree presented the perfect opportunity to put down roots across the pond.”

“We first noticed EVO2Max in social media and were excited by their jaw dropping custom colour schemes, aero design and build options,” said PROthree CEO, Rich Allen. “We had to take the opportunity to bring them to the US and feel they will be a big hit here due to a highly competitive custom price point. The stock colours are amazing, but you can literally have any colour you want! [The website] www.evo2maxusa.com is now up and running, so please check it out.”

Phil Graves, UK pro triathlete and the youngest ever pro IRONMAN Champion, is an Evo2Max ambassador. He will race on a custom silver/red Evo2Max Kronos R-9 in 2017. “I’m delighted to be racing the Kronos R-9 in 2017 and hope to pilot it to some wins and bike primes at IRONMAN’s in Europe and the US. I’m targeting a return to Kona in 2017, where I’m hoping to improve on my last appearance there and I’m sure the Kronos R-9 will help,” said Phil Graves.

Chris Hopkinson, multiple ultra marathon cycling world champion, will be piloting a Kronos R-9 in his 2017 assault on one of the world’s toughest bike races… the Race Across America (RAAM). Chris said, “I am proud and honoured to be representing Evo2Max and riding a Kronos R-9 in my bid for glory in RAAM 2017. I’ve had my Kronos now for over two months and enjoyed some fantastic results on it and I’m very excited by the future on this stunning bike.”

In addition to the Kronos R-9, Evo2Max has developed the Nebula R-9 aero road bike for road cycling. This is based on the same philosophies as the Kronos R-9 and will launch is the US soon.
