Skin in the game: ISPO Award for pjuractive 2skin

pjuractive 2skin, a gel to prevent chafing and blistering, has received an ISPO Award in the ‘Performance’ segment. The gel was recognised for its innovative formula, which, according to pjur, is ultra long-lasting even in the most extreme conditions. The gel is both ‘water and sweat resistant, without clogging the pores’.

ISPO Awards are handed out at the annual trade expo in Munich, Germany. The awards are presented to recognise ‘the ISPO seal of quality for outstanding product innovation’. The awards are divided up into five categories, representing the entire sports industry. The ISPO jury, composed of 49 independent experts from 15 different countries and four different continents, evaluated products in terms of innovation, design, function and sustainability.

pjur group, the company behind pjuractive 2skin, notes that whether running, swimming, cycling, horse riding, hiking or skiing – big names in sport and amateur athletes alike prefer 2skin to prevent chafing and blistering.

pjuractive 2skin is applied to the thighs, feet, forearms or nipples before training sessions and competitions. It immediately forms an ‘invisible protective layer that strengthens the cellular structure of the skin and distributes force across a larger surface area of the skin’. Because pjuractive 2skin is safe to use with neoprene suits and functional sportswear, the gel is popular among competitive athletes such as Sabrina Mockenhaupt, Jan Frodeno and others.
