The Great Run Company announced as latest partner for The National Running Show

The Great Run Company has been announced as the latest partner of The National Running Show, which makes its debut on 20-21 January 2018 at the NEC, Birmingham, UK.

Responsible for creating and developing some of the UK’s biggest televised mass participation sports events, including the Simplyhealth Great North Run, The Great Run Company is seen as an ideal partner for The National Running Show, which is being billed as the UK’s first dedicated non-race affiliated event solely for runners.

The Great Run Company will also have a stand at the show, joining many other high-profile exhibitors at the show that is ‘set to gather runners of all ages, abilities and interests under one roof’.

Thousands of runners have reportedly already registered for tickets in anticipation of the two-day programme of motivational talks headed up by Dame Kelly Holmes, free advice on nutrition, training and equipment, latest product launches, free gait analysis, trainer fitting and more.

The Great Run Company owns a portfolio of over 40 individual events that welcome over 300,000 participants each year, including some of the world’s best athletes. In addition to hosting the Simplyhealth Great North Run on 10 September, the company delivers many other popular running events including the Simplyhealth Great Bristol Half Marathon, the Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run, the Birmingham International Marathon, the Simplyhealth Great Birmingham Run, the Simplyhealth Great South Run and the Simplyhealth Great Manchester Run.

The National Running Show will in turn have a stand at the Birmingham International Marathon on Sunday 15 October, which forms part of the new Great Run British Marathon Series.

Media partners for The National Running Show include Men’s Running, Women’s Running, Sports Insight Magazine and Athletics Weekly. The National Running Show takes place at Birmingham’s NEC on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st January 2018. Tickets are for sale and cost £10 per person for the weekend.
