Future focuses on bottom line for Triathlon Plus

With a deadline of 12 February, Bath UK based Future Publishing is seeking an Advertising Manager for its Triathlon Plus magazine. The successful candidate will have complete responsibility for the magazine’s advertising revenue, will set strategies and develop customer relationships.

Future is seeking to boost market share and ensure that bottom line profits meet targets. Triathlon Plus was launched in the first half of 2009.

Also in 2009, NatMag Rodale Publishing geared up with the launch of Triathlete’s World. While in the summer of last year, Triathlete Europe, Competitor Group Inc’s (CGI) new title for the European market, landed on UK shores.

Joining leading magazine 220 Triathlon, produced by Origin Publishing, four tri magazines are therefore jostling on the shelves to grab the attention of the UK multisport community.

Triathlon Plus is positioned as: ‘the magazine for people who love the energy and excitement of a multi-disciplinary sport. Whatever level you’re at, Triathlon Plus will help you reach your goals by bringing you in-depth training advice from the world’s leading athletes, unrivalled kit coverage and inspirational imagery that reflects the true spirit of the sport.’

The new Advertising Manager shall develop innovative advertising and promotional ideas as well as identifying new business opportunities for new and existing clients.
